Fi G

As far as I read, even FI Gs only do 5.3 to 60 with a TT and 5.1 with Stillen SC. Correct me if i'm wrong.

0-60 is a joke IMO.

1. Who only races to 60 mph?
2. What gear are the 2 cars in when comparing speeds? 2nd or 3rd gear?
3. Where do normal people go for accurate 0-60 times? The 1/4 mile tracks in my area don't have this 'feature'?

I thought about that too. But we where doing a lot of turns and long bends. I honestly don't think the guy was that great of a driver that he could toy with me that well. I think he would've been eager to show me up. Pound for pound I think the G 35 can handle with the best of them, and it really showed. I almost passed him on that long bend.. but it would've been too much of a risk, other cars where coming up quick. Not to toot my on horn.. but I'm a hell of a driver.. I had the "no limit button" turned on (not the reckless button), and again, he might not have been much a driver. When we got to a straight.. of course I was getting eatin alive. It was great.

Don't believe everything you read. For instance, I've seen 0 to 60 times for the 6mt Coupe ranging from 5.5 to 6.1 seconds. That's a pretty wide margin if you ask me.

Sounds like you had some fun.

Random semi-tangent: It is amazing how much of a difference drafting makes. I've had a 330i/zhp draft off me and I couldn't lose him. But side by side's a different story

FYI, I've went up against a CLK 55 from a light, by 65 he only had 1 1/4 car lengths on me, he was walking away, but walking away slow. A FI'd G would spray Mop-and-Glow and mop the floor with a CLK/SLK 55, hands down. I'm talking sparkling clean, with no residue!!!!

This is why you dont race on streets. Too many variables and end up with too much coulda have, woulda have, and maybes. Not bashing on street racing it's just after reading it I still don't know if you really would have passed it on bends.
