My leather is cracking!! I was washing my car yesterday and decided to move onto the interior and I noticed that the leather on the drivers seat was starting to crack and only on the drivers seat... Anyone else having similiar problems? I've only had my car for about a year...

cracking or gettin wrinkled? How to you care for the leather? All leather will in time crease especially how you get out of and get in the car. For some reason when I get out I use my forearm on the side of the seat (i usually have like 5 things in my hands when i get out) and over times its caused it to wrinkle, but not crack. Post some pics of what you mean.

You just have to get your big butt off the sides of the seats. When I enter the car I try to avoid touching the sides by using my right arm on the center console. When I get out, I put my left hand on the floor where the door would be and lift myself out. But most of the time, I just jump inside through the moonroof! Problem solved...hahaaaa.

It sounds like you have never taken a look at the leather since you got it. Have you ever used any leather cleaner and conditioners on your seats?

Creases are normal; however, cracks after a year seem premature.

Welcome to the club dude. my driver's seat left bolster is cracking as well. Dealer said they could fix it but it won't look as stock again (they won't order a new seat, but rather just that piece of leather to replace the original).

I have the same issue. It looked like a wrinkle but upon further inspection it is a tear. My car is going on for service next week so I will see what they will do for me.

You should condition your leather at least every few months to prevent cracking.

I use lexol cleaner and condtioner once a month. If your lazy they have wipes too, which make it pretty quick....

The leather on the bottom left support of the drivers side seat was very wrinkled. I learned to live with it. The leather on my 05 seems to be holding up well though, knock on wood.
