I can vouch for Andy, good guy, always willing to work w/ the customer. However just b/c he's a sponsor of FGC or any other club doesnt mean that his ******* needs to be licked. BAT I got your back and Ive ordered more than 2x from him in the past and never had any worries when my stuff took a while. But the fact of the matter is just b/c he or anyone else offers free products does not give him or any other sponsor the right to be 'cocky', and BAT is DEF not that. Im sure he'll make it work somehow, just cut him some slack this time around. Andy, where you at w/ those inserts?!?!

Come on now. Couldn't most of us use a good *******-licking from time to time, sponsor or not?

I've dealt with Andy.

I got my stuff on time and I believe that when he said he shipped them he did. The items were reshipped no? I think that when the reshipped product gets to your door this should be the end of this topic...........shipment lost + reshipped replacement at no cost to buyer = happer buyer?

Andy's been great with me. I inquired early on about his overlays. He took a bit to get back, a day I think it was which is WELL within reason compared to most vendors. I waited to order based on rumors that the GT3 headlight was coming out. He followed up 3 times asking if I had ordered to make sure I didn't get lost in the shuffle. Once the GT3 pictures hit the forum I ordered the same day, he confirmed the order once, confirmed my address and let me know that since I paid with MO it would ship right away after getting the $$.

Was there some time delay between emails? Sure, but as I said, compared to some (most) internet places this was better than average. He's been very helpful.

As for the "this guy is making a mint" crowd. OK, so fire up you're own small business and do the same, deal with the customer every day all day in addition to your real job and other duties. Who knows what kind of development went into these, what kind of order quantities are required for the film, etc. I'm forever amazed at how people are so quick to jump all over a small business guy when they have no clue what goes into it. You seriously think Andy is making a living selling overlays?!?

everyones kinda taking what im saying and running with it as an excuse for the masses, taking this thing a litttle too far, i didnt want this to turn into a "down with bluebatmobile" thread, i was just expressing my frustration and many of us do on the forums. he said my check had cleared on the 4th of july, told me they were shipped the very same day(or day after, i dont imagine the post office is open on the 4th). was pretty excited to get them and stick them on, they never turned up. i expected them sometime last week but they never turned up, its thursday now and still havent, he finally suspected something was up and said hed reship them. butttt due to my childishness and frustration i just asked for my money back. thats my story. again..... wheres bat, hasnt posted up here and hasnt emailed my back in 3days

pdjafari, I think you missed my point entirely. If a FGC club sponsor is being accused of wrong doing by someone outside of the club, that's none of the clubs business. (I think you'll agree with that)

When a person who is a club member chimes in on a thread of this nature WITHOUT HAVING ANY OF THE FACTS and starts bashing and threatening a club sponsor, it is the rightful duty of the President and Founder of the club to say something on behalf of the sponsor (to protect the relationship that the club directors worked so hard to establish). Andrew has sold countless overlays to members of our club and members of g35driver.com. He has, out of the kindness of his heart, sent the FGC 2 free complete overlay kits for our annual raffle and has shared many PM's and phone calls. He really is a good person.

He also has a stellar track record of not ripping off people on this forum. He might be difficult to get a hold of (the worst accusation in this thread so far) but that's not a crime.

Had Gman posted that he called Andrew himself and had actual first hand information then I would not have replied to his post at all. Fortunately Gman corrected his statement and all would seem cool. Believe it or not, I would have made the same defense of you, hydrazine, clokwork, kpierson or any other person that was a long time board member who was bashed unjustly (well... except for the notorious ducatiguy j/k)

Apparently Andrew contacted the buyer and worked everything out, just like I originally thought he would. You can save the crass ball licking comments in the future.

Wow!!! Someone just notified me of this thread! I just shippedcanother set this am . I apologize for your order. According to my books, I did ship it out on the 5th of July, why you havent received it, I don't know. Things happen with the USPS, you all know that. And those of you that know me as a friend, or as a customer know that I always do my best to make things right. I appreciate all the support here, and I will continue to do my best to keep on top of things. No excuses here, this is just a hobby for me turned into full time job on top of my so called real job! The response for new overlays for different cars has be well, overwhelming for me. I need to be more particular on what I tackle nowadays. In fact, I has several new projects for the G's .

As far as unanswered emails, not sure why, only thing I can think of is my computer is rejecting certain emails that may have potential viruses are just blocking out certain domains. If you cant get a hold of me via email, please pm me here on the forums.

Again, I apologize for any inconvinience, I understand your frustrations. I always look at my business from a customers standpoint. That's why I always do my best to rsolve any issues. Unfortunately for me, you posted this thread just before I sent your new order and notified you!

Now, as far as the ebay guy goes, I'm fed up with him using pics of my Overlays for his auctions . And no, they aren't my listings. Although, I will be expanding to ebay, with the heading Bluebatmobile Overlays for my listings, so you'll know they're mine. I urge you guys to have your pics removed from his listings if in fact my Overlays on his listings are mine. Just report him to ebay trust and safety. A couple guys on the Z forum notified me of their car being used for his listings, and had their pictures removed.

Sincerely,

Bat™

I'm amazed how impatient people are, especially with someone who has an established reputation. Reminds me of a similar instance when I was running LeftCoast Tuning...

I would be willing to bet you your TT to my (aluminum pedals ) that Andrew did in fact send out a second set of overlays. The unfortunate thing is that once the guy gets the second set we'll probably never hear about how the first set showed up a few days later.

The thing that sucks is that often times it takes 5 business days for an item to get sent through the US Postal service (or UPS). The timeline here is PERFECT for Andrew doing the right thing. He kept in touch with the guy, he told the guy he mailed out the items and when enough time passed for there to obviously be a problem, he mailed out a second set of overlays. Gee, what more can a business man do in this situation? You guys bashing Andrew are all either really weak or you have NEVER ran a business before.
I agree completely, if you want to get mad and flame somebody flame the post office, they are the ones that suck, your order is probably sitting in a back room somewhere under loads of other stuff. Working with a lot of mailing and direct mail for my lively hood I see everyday just how aweful the USPS truly is.

what I find extremely odd is most people sticking up for the bat are saying that everyone flaming him is jumping to conclusions and blaming the post office. Well put the shoe on the other foot. Maybe you guys are jumping to conclusions with the post office. In the end the only two people that will know the truth is the bat and the original poster.

Gman I see what your saying, however at the same time BATs record/history gives him the advantage if you can call it that. So many members have bought things in the past w/o frequent problems therefore credibility goes to BAT. Now if the member who complained was very well known on the boards etc, that may change things a bit or if this type of issue persisted with other members.

Neff, I agree a sponsor shouldnt be blown apart w/o legitimate facts and what not on the forums, but I was merely stating that sponsorship does not mean imperviousness or adamancy or a feeling that person or company is 'untouchable'.
