Quick question...need an answer...please

Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you have purchased a salvaged vehicle. I found a G35 with a salvage title, but no frame damage it was only theft recocvery. Now from what I have heard, you can not finance a salvaged car. Is this true??? I need to know because I dont have enough $$$$ to buy it cash. Any help would be reallyyyy apreciated... Thanks in advance.

I'm confident that is a State regulation. I'm in the State of Georgia and I have heard the same: cannot finance salvaged vehicles. I'm not 100% sure but that does ring a bell.

Good Luck!

It really depends on the financing company but more than likely NO. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news. Good luck.

In Oregon you cant. Its not sounding good for you =(

Why not shop around for a good deal on a NONsalvaged version? From my experience you dont save a boatload of cash because it was salvaged. People tend to invest alot of mone in rebuilding it and need to recoop that loss.

just my thoughts..

Don't think you'd want to anyways. It has a salvage title for a reason, not just because it was stolen. Probably driven like it was stolen and then smashed.

Yeah... CA is not one of the ten states that declare a car salvaged if stolen. [the ten states are - AZ, FL, GA, IL, MN, NJ, NM, NY, OK and OR....just fyi =)] Anyway, I think you can find a decent coupe for around $27k or $28k (even in socal). I know that's still a big difference, but it'll definitely pay off in the long run, especially if you ever plan on reselling it.

don't know if you could qualify for a personal loan..and use that?? not sure what the qualifications are for those, or if you have to tell the bank what your using it for.
