Steering Wheel angled

Is it normal that my coupe's steering is angled?

I have an 05 and when I put my hands on the "T" of the sterring, my left hang is farther then my right....

the hole column seems to be angled left...

Anyone else noticed that?

It's popular amoungst euro-cars (from what i read) and I think being Renault, they
probably mimiced the idea. It is a little angled and I noticed that too the first time
i test drove it. I kinda like the ergonomics.

thank got, i thought it was a problem...

I hate it... makes the car feel crooked... I really don't like the steering position in the G, too high and it's angled...

but your right, it does feel ergonomic wih the left hand but it makes driving with two hands akward...

anone else noticed this?

Maybe you should measure your arms.

And measured it, at four points along left of seat to left side of wheel, and from right side of seat to right side of steering wheel. All measurements were within 1/16". I wonder if your seat is mounted crooked. Just a thought

well is the right closer then the left?

No it's not the seat... It's slightly angleled like the other guy said...

Not mine, actually the left was closer the 16th of an inch 3 out the 4 measurements. But then again, whos to say the seat is a good point of reference.

all i'm saying is that, if your pic is trait, your flash reflacted more towards the right witch would mean that your infiniti crest is angled...

Anyways, put you two hands on the wheel sitting strait when you drive to work tomorrow.... You should see a difference in lenght

Can't I have tomorrow off. The flash is off center of the lens a couple inches to the right, so I guess thats why it looks like it's angled

You know there is an adjustment for this under the stearing column. Or just raise your seat. LOL
