Blown by Civic...please help
Ok I have to ask what makes a civic rice? everyone refers to civics as ricers, I find 10 second hatchbacks very respectable although they do look like big *** helmets on wheels.
Second, turbo's wont come for $6k.. anyone who is seriously thinking about going the turbo route have a good $8k-$10k set aside for everything you will need. And 400whp is relatively safe if done right on the stock bottom end, honestly I believe 470whp would be the sweet spot on a stock block but thats just my opinion.
And last, it doesnt matter how much hp you put down theres always going to be someone out there that will hand you your ***. I thought I was invincible with 400whp till I got beat by a modified evo on my first race.

If it helps your ego ... my 2nd cuz in Houston had some JDM honda engine dropped into his civic hatchback and I dont know what other mods he had but he was beating new m3's in that thing ... too bad someone stole his car and stripped it all ...

If all you are worried about is beating civic sell your coupe and pickup a sti or evo for 10g's less. go stop at a stop light with that civic and have 50 ppl walk by and ask them which they like. If 1 says the civic its cause he works for honda

The G35 is a "fast" car. I think its one fatal flaw however, IS the weight. It is a heavy car. I feel the G handles superb, and thats not the issue, but I wish it were a bit lighter, and it could pull some much faster times. But hey, I am still very happy with the car.
