For those who Rebadge
i actually like the Infiniti logo over the Nissan logo... but people would make fun if i just slap on the skyline name as well as the 350GT and leave the Infiniti logo

The G35 is identical to the 350gt, that is the difference.

2nd Gen Acura TL = Honda Inspire, correct? See here
Acura TSX = Accord (look here.
Other matches include the MDX - it's identical overseas, only there it's a Honda. Look here.

Agreed. It's all about marketing, folks. Business 101
The dealerships also have the opportunity to offer something "more" for the consumer as well. I had an Altima before my G and it was very different in the Nissan dealership than the Infiniti one. I realize there are not-so-great Infiniti dealers (read some nightmares here!) but I think a general rule is most provide something extra over their regular-named counterparts. I get a nice waiting room, snacks and sodas, and friendly staff checking in all the time. I never had that at any Nissan dealership I visited here in Atlanta. I think Lexus does it best - one of my friends has an LS430 and they come to his house to pick up the car for maintenance and leave a loaner behind. I wish they'd pick my G35 up for just an oil change!! :-)
I've been in an Acura 1.6 EL (1.7's if the model year was earlier) and they are shockingly the same as a Civic EX. The Acura experience is what you're buying there! The same must have gone for the G20, QX4 and I30/35's of their day (and the QX56 now). You'll have to remember that there are sitll people who do not realize that Toyota, Nissan, and Honda are behind those cars as well. Very much marketing :-)
For the Skyline coming over with an Infiniti badge, I'm torn on that account. I'd like for everyone to know the Skyline lineage, but those really caring about that already know the G35 is the 350GT. I suppose a Skyline and 350 Z might be a hard sell under the same label to the general public, especially the coupe. Having it as an Infiniti may support both the G35 and 350 Z being successful. I am also enjoying the benefits of it being an Infiniti as mentioned above :-).

_G_, in your signature you say you have 100% JDM badging. Did you change the interior Infiniti logos too? Like the steering wheel, the tape deck, the clock, the seats, and the carpet?
My feeling is that if you're going to rebadge, do it all the way, because otherwise it is confusing and inconsistent. People will say "it's too hard to re-upholster the embroidered seats and carpet"; but if you've already wasted $200 on exterior badges, I think you should go all the way.

I originally had it as Infiniti Skyline, but the more I looked at it, the more I felt it wasn't right. I really like the way the Mt. Fuji logo looks more, but I had to keep it JDM.Maybe we shouldn't call it rebadging anymore
Since Nissan already rebadged it for us (Infiniti G35), maybe it should be called re-rebadging, or un-rebadging
