Why not just take the bus. It's always on time, it never breaks down and the daily payments are super cheap.

I would have given you a better response, but after you insult 90% of my friends (you were right about the other 10%) I don't think you're worth the best poop joke that I can come up with.

Think before you post..............................................

If 90% of us are no help why even ask??? Seems like common sense would have steered you away. I'd get an STI it's actually a car the 330... bleh its dumb. STI is AWD and a fast fast car.

Ah well..Any reasonable people on this board that have something to say?
I can't understand why anyone would come on a forum to get strangers to give them recommendations about what car they should get. Research your choices and make your own mind up. You're the one that is going to be driving he car not us.

Subie Legacy GT?

A grown up STi. Gets really good reviews and is a little cheaper than the G. The performance is there, you get AWD and a lot of other little trinkets inside.

Not a bad choice.

Other rear drivers I'd consider would be a 05 GT Mustang or an 05 GTO. Both offer a lot of power, decent handling, and don't cost a lot of $$.

Front or AWD I'd consider would be 05 TL (first choice), or Maxima - AWD would be Subie (not a fan of Sti) or Volvo (I like the V70R)..

On a side note - you asked for opinions and one person's opinion was that you were being trivial with regard to what you consider problems with your G. You may not like that opinion, but you did ask for it. Your 'snarky' response kinda puts you in the grouping of 10% that you mention.

Wow dude buy a domestic. See how you like their engineering

The old line is true:

"No matter how beautiful you think she (or he) is...there is someone somewhere that is tired of putting up with her (or his) ****".

Tires feather on the Bimmer, STI has a 30% drivetrain loss and build quality is so so...so on so forth. Every car has its issues.

EDIT: to add **** instead of ****

I think the STI, the Evo MR, or the TL would be your best choices. The STI is practical (4 door, 5 seater, large trunk) and will go through any weather. The Evo MR is the same, and so is the TL. You will get a much much much better interior in the TL than the Evo or STI, but you will lose ALOT of performance. It depends what your looking for. If you want mixed practicality with performance, go with the Evo or STI. If you want practicality and luxury with a little bit of performnce, go for the TL.

I also have noticed that the STI interior is much nicer than the Evo interior, IMO. The STI looks more finished than the Evo's.

Before you buy, do some research and find out the problems in the other cars, every car will have their annoyances.

Good Luck,
-Mike

I say it depends on what your looking for. The STI and EVO are high school / college cars to have. They are fast and ride rough. Yes they do have seats for 4 but then again why would someone ride in a rough car. I got annoyed of it the first time I sat in it.
Your comparing apples and oranges with the 330 vs STI. If you want speed go for a STI/EVO if you want luxury get the 330CI. I love the BMW and the way they drive but I couldn't see myself paying anymore for a slower car. I think the G35 is one of the best buys for what you pay for.
You seem to be more of an Audi A4 since its got all wheel drive and a turbo that you can modify but don't come crying back to a G35 when stupid $#it breaks down like the window regulators or a headlight washer breaks and you ask them how much and they go your arm and a leg please.

If you feel 90% of the board members provide no value, pack your A$$ and get lost.

And if you think you know more about cars than the 280hp and 18" wheels, why the heck are you asking for others opnion to buy a car.

First get a LIFE and learn how to behave in a civilzed world. LOOSER!!!
