I just got mine today. I made some changes to it so I may not be the best person to use as a reference. The unit by itself leaves a gap between the plate the bumper especially on each end (since the unit is flat and the bumper is curved). I used a combo of the G|Plate and the factory bracket which makes the entire thing flush (well, virtually flush since in put felt strips on the factory bracket to avoid scratches). The G|Plate connects to the tow hook attachment and the factory bracket keeping everything firmly in place. I'll take a picture when I get a chance (then all I have to do is learn how to post pictures - I'm an old guy). It looks great. The only change I had to make to the G|Plate was to drill an extra hole just below the predrilled center hole to make it match up with the factory bracket (wouldn't need to do this if you don't use the factory bracket).

I'm just wondering, those of you who were the initial customers, did you get a support brace? It's the flat piece that goes behind the acrylic. I received my package yesterday and the support brace was not in the box. I sent an email and wasn't sure if it'll be coming in the next few days from the response.

Nope didn't get a support brace. But he sent an email saying he was going to send one.

Well since I was one of the first to buy clokwork's g-plate there's bound to be some set backs. To me he seems like a great guy and gives great customer service. After he sent the inital order he send us all an email explaining that there's a few modifications and he'll be sending us another package of some screws and a bracket, free of charge. I haven't received it yet, probly because he lives on the east coast and I'm all the way out here in Hawaii. So since my temp plates exprired like 2 months ago (got my sales man to give me another temp plate when the first ones expired) I had to put the plate on ASAP. His first set of screws that he sent us is too long for the top of the license mount so until I get the shorter screws he's sending I'm putting some felt stickers between the screw and bumper. However, there's only 1 slight drawback I found and that would be the plastic license plate mount. It cracked a little when I was trying to put the nuts on the back of the screws to mount the license on it. But it didn't effect the overall look and it didn't support the plate any less. Overall, I'd recommend this product. clokwork isn't trying to pull a fast one on anyone, he's delivered what he promised and he makes sure he tries his best to allevate any concerns of his customers.

If you didn't buy this product yet, don't worry about the screws being too long. He's fixed that with his latest orders. I'm sure the others that ordered the g-plate will get those pictures up before the package arrives here. I just wanted to share my experience.
