I just went from a 2004 base auto with cloth to a 2005 6spd of course with 19's and sport suspension. After going to the drive through ATM it feels like the car is about 5 inches higher at the window sill, my seat is all the way down. Could this be true?

 

Actually it's 6.38 inches higher, to be exact. It's Infiniti's latest scam: "Sport-tuned" is code for "Sport-Ute" in their company.

I know what you mean. Comming from my last car, I thought I was sitting in a SUV or something. I've got the seat as low as it can go and I still feel pretty tall. I might try that manual seat lowering mod for more head room, but the car overall seems to sit higher.

I think those #s you quoted were for g's without sport sus. When they put out those #'s they take the basic car-guessing?

This thread is retarded. 5" higher?! Uhhh when I lifted my truck with a 1.5" lift kit it was VERY noticeable. Can you imagine a coupe sitting 5" higher?! Lower the seat dude.
