Infiniti does this once in a blue moon, i guess. My family bought j30 back in '95, and it was $10,000 under its listed price. (j30 was too over priced and wasnt selling so well. small trunk space, small interiot, and too "loud" for a luxury sedan.) it was when the I30 came out, which was same car as maxima, compared to the 200+hp rear-wheel drive j30. I had that j30 for good 8 years, over 150,000mi w/o any problems until i traded it in. It is a great deal! If you can afford it, you should definitly get it!

Dont let "old age" thinking talk you into a less enjoyable land barge. My father just turned 60 and is in the middle of building his 600rwhp Supra. Dont abandon your first love so quick!

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR FEEDBACK-

I took the Q out for a test drive Wednesday. Set the suspension to firm, and took it out on the twisties. Surprisingly agile for a big car, and tons of HP and Torque. And oh that leather and wood, and metal ***** (on the '05) and stereo and ridiculously low price...but I called the dealer today and told him no thanks. Told him that as great as the Q is, it doesn't cause the same stir in me as when I look at my CB '03 6m/t (pretty sick, huh...though some of you guys may understand what I'm talking about). The roar of the exhaust, the grip of the Brembos, and the short throws of the shifter are still too much fun, and though my knee is still sore, I think I just have to suck it up for the forseeable future.

The M is a great alternative, though there are no deals on them yet. Regardless, I still think my G is better...for now.

Thanks again, everybody. Now I can keep cruising this forum as one of you.

Good decision I feel
I turned 50 last week so there is hope for us old blokes yet
We don't get the Q45 down here but it looked too much like a Hyundai model I saw in Korea a couple of months ago.
Keep the passion alive stick with the G
Cheers
Chris
