Interior Blemish, help please?

Ok yesterday I was loading a device into my front seat of all places, and I wasnt paying enough attention and I accidently hit the (I dont know what you call it) the frame that connects the roof down to the dash. Anyways i tore about a dime size circle in the fabric. Does anyone know if the fabric can be replaced, and has this happened to anyone? Thanks for your input.

Sounds like you screwed up the A-pillar, those can be easily replaced, probably wouldn't be too expensive

I checked on infiniti-parts.com and it shows that cover for the inner window pillar (correctly referred to as a A-pillar cover but they call is a W/'s pillar trim piece) to be $53.38.......the nice thing is that they all are willow in color.

W/'s Pillar Link

I am thinking that it is a snap in replacement part. Wether other pieces have to be removed to install it is a different story though.

you can pull those A-pillars right out. just grab both ends and pull straight.

benbo: If you look at the pic of the part in the link, you'll notice that your old part will pop out by doing what Azn said. You will then have to remove the clip from your old damaged A-pillar cover and put it on the new one that you get as a replacement. Then just pop it back into place like clokwork said.

Hmm, on the same note, what's the best thing to use to clean the a-pillar fabric?

I use two cleaners for mine and it works GREAT! I first use one of those spray on (turns into powder) cleaners and use the brush on the cap. After that is completely dry and powdery, I follow up with a generic spray-on wet uphostery cleaner. I brush some more and finish by rubbing with a wet cloth. Marks were completely GONE.
