^ I agree.....it is easy to use.

I have not had weird sounds on the music played but I have had some motor whine come through on one of my vehicles but not my G. It does allow the 87.9 freq (freq that is typically not used in continental US as a radio station and is supposed to allow interference free use) to be tuned in but does not allow this station to be locked in as pre-set. One thing that is not cool, is that if you pause the ipod to select another song and it takes longer than 30-60 sec to find a new song, the transmitter does shut off since it doesn't detect a signal going through it....this is then causes "white noise" to come through your stereo.

i went from tape to fm transmitter when my casette deck got jammed. there was a noticeable decrease in sound quality. tolerable, but at times the high end sound is really static-y and annoys me. best thing is still a hardwire connection.

I've done the AAI-NIS PAC unit. Easy to install for 80$, plus the Y-adapters (5$?).

Use the site as mentioned above by Kidtronix, http://g35ipod.com/home.php. It will help.

Can anyone refer me to a Bay Area stereo shop that can do this job without butchering up my dash?
