Help...warranty issue?

I bought an 03' G35 Coupe from a private seller with 19,000 miles and i assumed that the warranty followed it. Can someone clarify to me what or what not exactly follows with the car as far as the warranty goes. Thank you ahead of time.

Warranty should be transferable, talk to the dealer if you have any doubts but IMO you're good

i think you have to pay a small fee to transfer the warranty to a new owner, but it can be transferred.

That's only true if it's an extended warranty. The standard factory warranty automatically goes with the car.

You should have warranty. Take your VIN number to the dealer and they can punch it into the computer, and that should show if there is warranty issues against it.

call infiniti customer service (you can get the phone # from their website) and tell them you'r the new owner of the vehicle. They will take your information and update it on the system so that it shows up on any infiniti dealer you went to. They should alse tell you how much warranty you have left.

Fill out the warranty transfer sheet found in your owners manual, and also phone Infiniti for an update on the existing warranty. You'll need the VIN #.

I was told buy a service writer at a local dealer before i purchased my 04 that the standard warranty goes along with the car not the owner, and that the extended warranty only needs to be transferred.

The warranty will follow the new owner, but you have to fill in the warranty transfer card found in your owner's manual.
The dealer will have another card if you don't have the manual.
