Splash Guards quick fix...
Splash Guards quick fix...
Hey Guys,
I had my rear bumper repainted because of an accident, and when the body shop guys removed it, they didn't put my rear splash guards on tightly enough so it's kind of loosening up. Is there a quick fix to kind of mount them tighter? Super glue possibly? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Best way to fix that is to remove the guards and clean everything up properly, then re-apply the double sided tape.
I agree to that the body shop should do that for you as part of their repair.

I don't want to bring it back because it's kind of a hassle on my part (distance, time, etc.), and it's not really a HUGE deal. How is it normally installed? It's not that it's dangling or totally loose or anything, it's just that some of the edges aren't tightly against the body of my car.

remove the splash guards. The screws on the bottom are harder to take off. It's those pop off screws. Clean the whole area. When the splash guard is off, you'll be able to see where the original tape is. Use some good double sided tape to stick it back on.
