Maybe I'm stupid... but I dont notice any difference. Here is an 06 model from the ME infiniti website.

And we all know what the projector headlights look like

in terms of the new taillights, i think it's safe to predict that Infiniti is going the route of the dual circular LED treatment they put on the '05 sedans and M45s. not a big deal, in my opinion, as the current taillights on the coupes are easily the best-looking of any car on the road. i figure Infiniti can only ruin a good thing, or make taillights that are equally as nice. i'd be surprised if they looked better.

Headlights would be cool. I like my other lights. Head lights will be a back ordered part very soon.

This question was posted before in this thread but I didnt see an answer; do you think some of these options can be installed on an 05? I'm mainly curious about the headlights (which I'm fairly sure it can be done) and the bluetooth.

Headlights definitely will be able to be retrofitted. Bluetooth probably can't. Then again, there are aftermarket options for that.

I'm interested in the intelligent key though. I would like to retrofit that, but i doubt it'll be worth the cost...

Bi-Xenon isnt necessarily a good thing guys. For anyone that uses their high beams often to flash or notifiy others are going to wear down the bulbs more. This isnt like a dual fillament bulb. When you flash your high beams with Bi-Xenon lamps, there is a small ramp up time similar to the low beams coming on, just nowhere near as drastic.

How do I know all of this? I used to work for Hella lighting and we made these for some Chrysler vehicles.

Its a good set of options for 2006; they have to keep moving forward to stay in business. I don't personally see anything that will make me jump up and turn in my 2003, but I'll go down to the dealer and check them out when they arrive.

The active rear steering is optional folks...dont worry about it adding weight, just dont get it! My dealer said that he would be taking orders for the 06 models in the first week of august. I had decided to buy a G way back in march, but I was waiting for november to come around to get a really good deal on the 05 but now it seems I might as well get the 06, granted that Infiniti doesnt mess up the exterior with the new sills, fascias, and tail lights, so I will have to wait till I see pictures. Not sure about how ordering works, but if you put down money for an 06 and if you dont like how it looks can you cancel and get your money back or atleast put it towards and 05????

Actually Bi-xenons are really nice. Inside of the projector is a movable shield that pulls down when you activate the high beams and thus allowing light to shine upwards effectively giving you high beams, and a much brighter high beams at that. I believe you will still have the halogen high beams used for the "flash to pass" function when you don't have your projectors on. This has been incorporated in all factory headlights with hid to prevent that over usage of the hid bulb and ballast and avoid the premature wear.
