This has been incorporated in all factory headlights with hid to prevent that over usage of the hid bulb and ballast and avoid the premature wear.

Good point you have.

Nice changes...I'd probably retrofit the headlights, and the bluetooth, I'd rather do aftermarket. Intelligent key is pretty cool. I got to try it out on a loaner. Memory seats is a huge plus also, but not killer, since I don't let anyone else touch the car. =)For me, these changes don't make up for the loss of Brembos. Love those things!

My 03 has memory seats, I'm the only one that drives it.

I am interested in the spoiler, sills and tail lights. But it's not going to mae me buy an 06. In 07 there will be a completely redesigned G... I would be really pissed if I bought an 06 then the 07 came out looking totally different- which it likely will.

At the time that I bougt my car, I was happy with it. That doesn't change simply because there is a new car out. It didn't make my car worst- it is simply an improvement. For those who buy it- more power to them.

Sound like a few brilliant changes. Rear active steer, intelli-key, and seat memory are great additions.

I don't want to pi** off any 05 owners, but, I think they are the worst off for the changes.

People may specifically buy the 03 and 04s for the Brembos and now the 06s for all of the aforementioned upgrades. But, what would be the selling point of an 05?

I would be pretty ticked if I just bought an 05 and this extra list of goodies came out.

the '05 had a lot of things the 03 and 04 owners wanted. Got rid of the tape deck...added mp3...added torque / hp. Added 19: wheels (that look aftermarket), etc.
Every year there will be changes. It seeems like they made good changes this year and while I am upset I wont get to enjoy it...I love my car just the same. I applaud Infiniti for making upgrades every year. Sometimes...a GM or Ford car will olnly improve something like the ashtray and slap on a new year title.

+1... agree 100%

plus i'm sure we can use 06 parts for our cars...

LOL HahHah Brembos=Selling Point??? 75% of 03-04 coupe owners dont even know they have brembo brakes, nor do they know they are performance brakes.

Here's my thoughts on the '06 changes: Bluetooth? I want to pay attention and drive my car, not talk on the phone. Intelligent Key? How hard is it to put the key in the slot to start the engine? It's just another complicated thing to break for something so simple. Rear Active Steer? Isn't that what the throttle is for on RWD cars? I don't need memory seats since I'm the only who drives the car. I'm not sure if the other mechanical changes will be significant improvements, if they are improvements. As for the cosmetic changes, I love everything on my coupe the way it is, so I don't think they could make it any better, just different maybe.

03 to 06? nah. Enjoy it for another year and get the redesigned 07 or, if yo dont like the redesign, a highly discounted 06 at that point.

And 24% complain that they dust and cost too much to service.

It's actually quite neat! You will no longer take your key or key fob out of your pocket.

All you need is walk up to your door, the proximity sensor will activate the small semi-hidden push button on the door handle to open the door/doors. There is also a button at the trunk. Once you are inside the car, the driver seat, steering column and exterior mirrors will adjust to the key fob's profile, one for you and one for your significant other. To start the engine, you will just rotate the **** by the steering column just like if you have a key. It will be even nicer if it is just a push button.

When you finish driving, rotate the steering column **** off and get out of the car, push the little button on the handle and you can just walk away. Cool gadget which you can live without but it's fun to have.

nice upgrades. I'd like those bi-xenons, bluetooth, and intelli-key... oh well, stuck with this car for another 4 years (not complaining though)
