Winter tires for '05 19'' rims
I couldn't find the right sizes for LM22 for the stock 19'' rims (225/40R19, 245/40R19) but I did find the right sizes for LM25.
Has anyone try these tires before? they r still winter tires right?
I've search the forum and someone said LM25 will be replacing LM22?
help me out ppl.. thanks,

Winter?,
Look man, originally I am from the great white north. 19s are gonna be useless as a gorgeous blonde for a long term relationship. Right now I live in AR. 18s with michelin pilot sport all seasons can get you buy with very cautious driving. HELL in really slick conditions. You could purchase 18 inch Altima SE-R rims and go with the 350z set-up of front to rear tire ratio using michelin pilot sport all season radials. This is still gonna be slick brother. The other option is to find 17s' preferrable for winter with blizzaks or other packages. Just make sure they are the right front to rear sidewall height otherwise VDC will not function..... I know this from experience. Thus, Doctors orders.

You need you find 17" wheels that have the right PCD and offset to fit the G. If none of it makes any sense to you tires.com and tirerack.com both have things that can help you put together a winter package for your car.

found a good article about LM 25..

one more question, why would 19'' winter tires perform worse compare to 17'' winter tires?

Hi all, new to the forums. I'm in the same dilemma with tires and the upcoming Chicago winters.
If I get 18's with Avon A/S tires (staggered, great reviews on Avon) it would pretty much be the same price as getting a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's in 19's (nonstaggered 245/40/19, mixed reviews) which would be $1300. I could also get Bridgestone Blizzak LM25's in the 19" tire sizes (staggered) for approximately $1000 but that would mean I'd have to swap tires all the time on the rims and I hear that's not good practice.
I kinda don't want to have 2 sets of rims and tires, more of a hassle to me but concerned about A/S tire performance on the G with Chicago weather. I don't mind driving slow but don't want to be fishtailing everywhere. Problem is, the factory Bridgestones now are shot and even if I got a dedicated winter set, I'd have to buy new set of summer tires anyways which means MORE money. UGH. Which is why I'm seriously considering getting A/S tires instead.
really like to hear your opinions and what setup you have, if any. thanks!
