My 05 6MT has 3000 miles on it and I just completed a run from Orange County Ca. to Reno Nv. and averaged 29.2 mpg. From Reno to S.F. and down the coast highway
Cal 1, home, for a total trip of 1306 miles, consuming 46.85 gal, for an overall average of 27.87 mpg. no a/c and driving the limit, most of the time.
What a great drive and GREAT car.

i pumped Arco 2 weeks ago and got about 280 to the tank and when i pumed Shell last week i got 361 to the tank! I honestly believe it depends of the gas because i definitely drove more aggressive when i had the SHELL gas...
