Maybe you don't agree with re-badging but some of us do. Imagine all the G35's driving around and it was illegal for you to change anything on our cars.

Why not????
I've bought tons of stuff off ebay.....you just have to pick out the shady sellers and go with the proven ones.
Don't you have an AMEX card? You can always go back to them if anything goes wrong and they will credit your money back!

all im asking is why you would actually want to badge the car you bought, to say its a different car.
you bought an Infiniti G35, not a skyline.
you can rebadge if you want to, i just dont understand why you would.
Why does anybody do anything to their car in the first place?
Why is there a multi-billion-dollar automotive aftermarket?
Why do forums like this exist?
The answer to all these questions is the same. Car enthusiasts like to modify their rides to make them different and unique. Sometimes the mods are for performance, sometimes cosmetic.
The full JDM conversion is very difficult because of the clock, seats, steering wheel, carpet, etc. But who cares? Some people want to do a few things at a time.
What's next?, Are you gonna go over to the vintage mustang forums and rag on people that converted a regular mustang into a Shelby clone just because the car did not originally come that way?
If you want to leave your car stock, then go ahead.
