Does a light always appear on the dash when VDC is on?
Hi. I just bought a 6spg coupe a couple of months ago, and recently discovered this forum.
Anyways I read in the manual that whenever VDC is activated a light appears on the dash. Is this true? Does this happen EVERY SINGLE TIME VDC is activated?
Because I have been driving with VDC for a while now and have not gotten this light to appear. I want to try turning it off to practice taking turns using understeer but so far with the VDC on I have not been able to get the car to understeer. And if VDC is only activated when the light is on then turning off VDC will not make a difference since ihave never seen the light come on, right?
I am not very eager to test this theory myself because I dont want to spin out or "swap ends"
Also, please tell me if you have been able to get the car to understeer, and how much gas you have to press to get it to do that, and is it easier/faster to take turns with understeer or is it better to keep the car in traction.

There are 2 lights that pertain to VDC. The first is the "VDC OFF" light and the other is the "SLIP" light. the Slip light will flash or flicker when the system is activated.
Easiest way to get VDC to activate is to come to a complete stop, turn the wheel all the way to the right or left, then floor the pedal. The Light will turn on and you will feel the engine fuel cut off, then the surge in power once traction is back. VDC rocks. Saved my butt here and there.
