I wish it was that simple. The turnsignal portion of the 03-05 taillight was designed for a halogen flash bulb. This means the reflector assembly is optimized for this purpose. If you stick a "plug-in" LED bulb it will look VERY directional and dim since light won't be dispersed correctly. Now, if you open the housing up and install a custom LED array it will work. I am currently in the process of making a set of LED sidemarkers. Once I finish them and my LED clearance strip mod I will attack the rear turn signals!

Man, if they're handing out commission, where's mine for projector low beams with darked center strip on the bezel to prevent glare?

it doesn't seem like the changes are that major. the front bumper just looks like they just incorporated the front lip spoiler. i'm not too crazy about the new rear spoiler either. the changes to the side skirts are barely noticeable. so, the only real, significant changes would be the interior options. blue tooth, memory seats (finally!!!), seat belt harness changes (finally!!!), and intellikey option are great additions. i would love to have the new changes but they aren't a big deal.

Ok, now that I have more time... when I got my 04 and I saw the 05 I really wanted to get the 05 due to the new interior, added HP, and when I drove the 05 I felt the clutch and gear's were much better. Now that I have the 05 and I see the 06, this is what I think:

Things I like about the 06:
-Bluetooth
-Keyless
-New Sides
-Projectors with clear turn signals

Things I dont like:
-Spoiler (Dont like the pre 06 either)
-New front bumper (Not standard so no problem unless 6MTs have it standard)
-The steering that decreases sensitivness (Not standard either)

So basically, it does have some improovements I wish I had, and everything I dont like does not come standard which makes the car (for me) a little better. If I were given the choise between them, obviously I'd choose the 06, but the changes made to the 06 are so much less than changes made from 04 to 05 that I would not consider trading-in (even if I had money to waste).

Hmmm the color, bumpers, sides, spoiler... looks more like 06 is the "stillen edition."

^ Yeah just like the 05's Sports Package said it came with VLSD or something which it did not and Infiniti had to correct.

Might be a typo so dont get your hopes up. That would be a major change and one that would make me be happy to have the 05. RWD is much more fun than 4WD.

who likes the new tail lights?

I don't like the new reverse lights.

I'm glad i bought an '05 when i did now. I thought i may bet upset with the 06 coming out, but the changes are so minor that i don't care too much for them. The one thing i would like are the projectors, but i can live without.

Im just pissed about not having a trunk release externally...I hate reffering to the fob or going inside the car to open it each time...

It will be standard on the 6MT....cuz thats the bumper that comes with the sport tuned suspension which is standard on the 6MT with the spoiler. I wonder what the standard bumper looks like....I am not too crazy about the 06 bumper, i guess i can live with it. But if base model 06 owner wants to swap....id do it if theirs look like the 05s

I don't like it. The spoiler is eh. Sides are ok. Front looks like the old bumper molded with the chin spoiler, squashed in. There's still clearance strips but no clearance lights? Don't like that. I like the old reverse lights.

Doesn't the 151 ratio mean the steering will be faster? Lower number means faster turn ratio. Ours is 151 or something like that right?
