Is Athens blue a girlie color ?
Looking to order a new 06 soon and like the Athens blue with graphite interior.
Having an argument with the wife in that she think's Athens blue is a "girlie" color. I disagree, think it's a good boy blue color, better than lakeshore.
Like IP and DP but have had a White Diamond Pearl for 6 yrs and DP still hasn't won me over.
What do you all think...Athens blue girlie or not ???

hahaha.
I like dark blue's like Midnight Blue Pearls or Indi-Blue's.. the blue that is very dark
in low light (almost appears black), but in sunlight it's a deep blue. imo, these are
real 'guy' blue colors.![Big Grin](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
but the G's blue is a lot more flashy and I think it's a cool color for any guy or girl who wants to turn heads.

I am a girl and I have an Athens Blue coupe. Not going to lie to you, as rare as the color is, I have seen probably 5-6 besides mine and 2 of them were driven by girls. The reason why I bought AB was because
1) it wasn't a girly color
2) it wasn't a color I see a lot of women driving on the road (as opposed to IP, LR, silver, DG most commonly - not to be confused with girly colors)
The G isn't a girly car, god forbid I'd see a girl in a G with Brembos. However, cars like the G and the Z always seemed to be on the "cute" side to me. Now an M3 is a manly looking car. Feel free to flame me all you want, I'm just used to myself in my car and I'm not a guy, so my perspective is distorted..

I kept thinking the same thin about Lakeshore Slate when I first started pricing the G35 Coupe. I liekd it, but it just didn't seem "mean" enough for me. Once I saw it in person I knew that even if anyone thought it might seem girlie, it didn't matter. It jsut looked so good to me I didn't care.
