Installing Brembos on 05 6MT
I just picked up my new 05 6MT coupe and was really suprised and disappointed it didn't come with Brembos. Every review I'd read of the car said they came with Brembos and I assumed that included the 05 because I didn't see it listed as a year change on most of the sites. I guess I should have checked here I atributed the feel difference between the 350Z Track version I test drove and the G35 to the G35 being a heavier car and never really thought to look.
After searching I've seen people saying it may have been because of wear and cost issues, but I wondered if anyone had tried refitting an 05 with Brembos from an earlier year Coupe? Are there any issues anyone can think of with trying this? Are there any other parts that are different besides the caliper, rotors, and pads that anyone knows of? I searched and haven't seen anyone talk about trying to refit an '05 with earlier model year brakes.

why do you want the brembo's so badly? are you going to track your g? if not, you will probably not notice that big of a difference in daily driving. and i would look into a big break kit (BBK) if you want the brembo's. wilwood or stoptech, they look just as good or even better than the brembo's. might even out perform. and remember they're track brakes so they're expensive to maintain
