honestly we all push each other.... thank god we are not all in the same city.. haha we should seriously think about applying to a car mag together.. like look what 4 or 5 guys from the same forum did.. and get them to do a shootout with all of us and whatever... just a thought

Yeah...what paranormal said...we push each other, but in the end, the mods are done because we like too do it. if you do it just to be better than someone else, then you'll never be done since there will ALWAYS be someone who has bigger, better, stronger stuff on their car.

I agree. After talking with the wife and shes knows me better then anyone else. She knows how bad Ive wanted to get in a Mag. Ive been building Cars,Trucks,Bikes for YEARS! Ive won a LOT of shows in the past but have never been in a Mag. Until that happens she's told me not to stop and go to the EXTREME with the car. So Im going all out. I love this site and LOVE to see the new mods members do! I look forward to new pics posted by them. For a couple months Im going to be a troll and just watch. Im done posting progress pics and ideas. I have a LOT going on right now with the car and I want it to be a surprise!

 

Anyone wanna bet $ Steve wont last 2 months, without posting any progress of the suprise project? Better yet, can anyone guess what it might be? .... Hmmm .... I'll take wild guess, it involves Twins and a bullet-proof motor.

 

Naw two months and I should be done. My first show is in month and a half!

just remember.. the import scene is not about the car you build anymore, it's about who you know and who can talk to who. when your car is done with it's next project shoot me a pm and i will give you some great contact information.

 

i argee.if you don't have the "hook up" you might loose to a "rice out" with a lot of stickers cars

 

You have no idea how true this is.. I have a friend who shoots for Modified magazine, and the politics that go on behind the scenes are unbelievable. We had over 10 magazines shoot coverage of our team presented car show and they shot pictures of the same cars you see shot at all the other major shows, it's honestly pretty sad.
