I'm trying to get ahold of a black/black 6MT right now, with sunroof, aero and splash guards. The dealer found one with all that but of coruse a few days later said it was presold to someone else.

They have one coming to them with sunroof, trunk mat, splash guards and body side molding. The molding I think looks fine on black but they said they would remove at any time for free. My question is the spoiler I really need on the car. Has anyone added a spoiler afterwards or at the dealer? I don't think cars that come with the spoiler have a brake light inside the car, since its on the spoiler. The guys at the dealer are syaing I will have 4 brake lights, the one inside the car will still be lit, plus the spoiler. Guess I'm just asking if this is how its done when its added afterwards or if they should be removing the brake light inside the car.

Usually they just disconnect it.
(In some areas it's not legal to have a 4th light)

To get rid of it you would have to change out the rear shelf/parcel tray. ($$)
OR
Most just get a tint done & make sure the tint shop installs to cover the old light.

Just unplug it, get some EZ felt, cut it, and hotmelt it over the holes.

The dealer is doing this, just wondering if it would look ok leaving it lit as well.

I got quoted 650+tax+labor(200) so its like 900 bucks!! Just try to put the spoiler in the deal so you don't have to pay the full price later. But today, I found another dealership that sells it for 550. Prices vary by places.

I don't think 500 installed at a dealer is possible. Maybe just for the spoiler before tax. I might get it from everythingg35.com (467 including shipping and no tax because out of state) and have my local bodyshop install it for about 60 bucks.

$500 dealer installed is possible actualy 538.62(tax) I just got quoted @ Glendale. But It also helps if you bought the car from there(2 TO BE EXACT).

Parts guys never quote installation charges you know. They are simply two different departments. So if I'm not mistaken, that price is ONLY for the spoiler. I called Miller today and the price of the spoiler+tax (no installation) was very close to the price you got at Glendale.

I'm paying 400 for the spoiler installed. I told them I wanted a car with the spoiler, they have one coming in with everything I want but the spoiler, so they are adding it for what I would pay at factory. I just don't want 4 brake lights in the back.
