I have a B&M short shifter that I bought a couple of months ago before I became a member of this forum. The shifter rattles, and it is annoying as hell. I was wondering if anybody has a trick to stop the shifter from rattling.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yea there is a fix for it.... RIP IT OUT AND THROW IT AWAY!

I had the B&M as well, and I was like WOW B&M (a company I've known and purchased items from prior for my domestic cars) makes a short throw for our cars, AWESOME! I'm in! I got it, installed it, and was happy with the short throw it had, but man did it rattle bad!

After two weeks I just couldnt take it, so I yanked it off and sold it off on eBay for HALF what I paid for it. I really didnt care...

I then picked up the Rogue Engineering short throw shifter and its the same in terms of "shift throw" but the build is 10X better and IT DOES NOT RATTLE! The infamous 3K vibe is also almost all gone.

I'm VERY happy with the Rogue and if you read up on it (search this forum) you'll see everyone who's purchased it is VERY happy with it as well...

Damn, I guess I really need to install mine. The OEM shifter hasn't bothered me yet, but it is an '05 with just over 500 miles on it.
