High RPM gives tranny grind...

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question on transmission.

I just hit 2000miles and done with break-in on my '05 coupe.

I pushed the car little over 4500RPM at 1st gear and pushed down clutch (all the way to the bottom) to shift gear to 2nd and there I felt something different than my normal drive.

I felt the clutch grind and engine/transmission sounded different (when I pushing down the clutch).

Is this normal?

if u have an 05 then this is normal as mine and you will feel more change when u shift at 6400 rpm, cause the clutch is different than the 03-04

I was wondering why u still keep driving ur car slow. I pushed my car hard on my first time at 600mile and it was cool. Go out side and push ur car hard to know ur car more nothing gonna happen but drive carefully.
