with 4 dollars a gallon or even 5 not being unrealistic in the very near future.

$50+ a fill up and 21mpg makes baby jesus cry.

Luckily i have a second car.. my 02 accord coupe v6..
but even it makes maybe 29/30 mpg at best.

is anyone planning to drive another car for awhile or purchase a second
"beater" like a prius or jetta TDI?

I have to drive at least 50 - 100 miles every day for work and school.
are the prices killing anyone else?

 

Gas prices will never outweigh the enjoyment of driving my G'.

 

My car is already garaged pretty frequently (weekend driver), and I'm highly considering getting a hybrid in the future.

Full tank for the G = 90 - 96 dollars....

tell me why the gas was 3.10 for premium last night and somehow jumped to 6.10 this morning..

The G usually stays in the garage until the weekend or when I just feel like driving em'... I drive a honda delsol si for my daily driver and I still think that thing sucks up way to much gas...

 

Now that's just wrong...

 

My other car is a V8 truck. The G is my gas miser.

 

Yeah my G gets the better gas mileage. I am considering a more fuel efficient car to replace the SUV

 

my 04 civic value package is my commuter. it gets 32/38mpg and i don't have to pay gas for it as it comes out of our house account. (aside from my allowance). ive always driven this car since i got the g... i leased it a week after buying my g. my g's not really a garage queen as i drive her and my other car on the weekends for fun.

that 48mpg diesel VW is looking good right now.

all of us G35 owners should move to Venezuela where gas is .20 cents a gallon
or to the Middle east where its .50 cents a gallon.

I wonder if the end is near for gasoline cars cuz Bush obviously doesnt plan to do ****.. in a interview he danced aroudn the question of oil companies price gouging with "I Believe Corporate America should aid in helping americans" or some crap like that.

I live in texas. which is kind of ironic if you think about it..
I think that and the other gas station is gouging cuz the other ones are 3 or 4 at the most.

i think imma call the energy gouging hotline they have on the department of energy website. its ridiculous

 

That's insane, it's a little over 3 dollars down here and I thought that was out of control.
