Do you see this when doing pedal ecu reset?
I posted this under mods, but here it gets more exposure. I did the pedal ecu reset this morning and noticed that my shifts were harder and all that. I also noticed that the service light would flash on whenever I full lifted off of the throttle. It freaked me out so at the next light I turned my car off and turned it back it. The weirdness went away, but the grannyness of my shifting came back. Ever seen this before?
Nope. I've reset mine twice, once yesterday, and felt no change except for performance seemed to increase slightly. I also had a bit of engine ping during harder acceleration and that was alleviated by the ECU reset as well.
Okay this is what happens when I do it.
I turn the car to ON
After 3 seconds I pump the gas 5 times
Wait 7 seconds
Hold the gas for 10
Service light blinks slowly
Release gas and then hold again for 10
Service light blinks fast for 2 seconds, goes off for 2 seconds, on for 2, off 2, etc.
I release the gas and crank the car
Now when I drive the light blinks when I release the gas
After the reset should I turn the car off then on before cranking it up

Yes, after I do a reset, I remove the key and put it back in before starting the car. I think you may be in some service diagnosis mode if you don't remove the key before starting.
