Oem Wheel Poll-18's Vs 19's

After reading the "Is it just me or is infiniti going backwards with the G35" tread I thought it would be interesting to start a poll to see which OEM wheels ppl prefer.

Can someone please post a pic of two stock G's, one w/ oem 18's and the other w/ oem 19's. Preferably the same colour G.

I dont see whats so bad about OEM 19s. They are forged, light weight, look good for stock wheels, fit the car.

Only reason why i would switch them is to put wider tires on all 4 corners or 17s for track/autoX events

We just want to make it clear (although I didn't start the poll) that there will be no fighting, just your opinion....

With that said, I used to think the OEM 18s were bomb till the 05s came out. I honestly think that the OEM 19s are best looking when it comes to competeing with other car company OEMs (like bimmer, benz and yes...even the S2K)...but I am a sucker for those M rims...

Basically what I'm saying is, I have never seen such OEM rims that had an "aftermarket" flavor to it...and not alot of other car companies provide you with 19s (M3 still only goes 18s if I am not mistaken).

I think both look great...Id probably rather have the 19s now though since I have the 18s. i'd never buy the stock 19s though since everyone sells them for the same price as aftermarket.

One of the main reasons why I wanted an 05 over an 03/04.

Nothing beats the new track wheels on the 350Z- I hope to get those as replacements if I keep my car long enough.

My $0.02.... the 18s are ugly. Even when I first saw the first G, I thought what a beautiful car, just gotta get rid of those wheels. The factory 19s are great.

s14roller: Stock 19" sell for appx $1500-1700 online with tires. Aftermarket forged 19" wheels with decent tires will you at least $3000! That's quite a bit of difference.

KAHBOOM, I assume you are talking about the new 350Z Anniversary edition wheels - (the one that looks like RX-8 wheels) Look up the specs, those are cast wheels and weight more than the G35 19" wheels.

OEM 19"s are hard to beat in terms of price, performance and styling IMO. One the other hand, stock 18" matches the lines of the car better than the stock 19".
