Now for the brakes sucking, take a look at this thread:

I've been stoping pretty hard all day (although non to a dead stop like I did there) and I didn't feel any fading. Hell, even G35_tx did it 10 times and didn't feel it, which makes me wonder if you bought a lemon. Also, how can you cancel an order and be able to stop 3 times hard? Was this a loaner car or something? I'm a bit confused there. But really, I think it is all a matter of opion as to what clusters you like better though. I personally feel the 03-04 clusters look to plain for my tastes. It actually reminded me of my '92 Isuzu Rodeo that I wrecked (wasn't my fault) before I got the G35.

Brembo's VS a couple of brushed metal interior parts and some different guages etc. now that is a no brainer man!

Actually...your console wears out and reveals the black plastic that was just "primed" and "painted" over...years down the road, your interior door handles, console and anything "silver" in your car will look $hitier than the interior of an old 300zx...hopefully your brembos still keep you happy then, knowing that 05 has the same stopping power...I'd be pissed

Just tell your passengers that its ok, because atleast the Brembos will savem in the event you have to stop quickly....assuming they even know what the hell brembos are, that is.
by the way, the true position of a tech is not left or right...it's in the dead 'center'.

The 05 brakes smelled burnt after the stops and yes, they were fading at that time... Infiniti made a mistake dropping the Brembo's; the dash panel is just a matter of taste, the 05 is somewhat more luxurious, however, if I wanted a quick luxury car, I would have bought an A4, if I wanted a sports car, I would have bough a Z06… I bought a beautiful car that has the best of both…
Now, if you want and do constant 100 mph to Zero three times in a row, then more power to you and I don't blame the brakes for smelling burnt after that. Sheesh. This isn't a track car and why would you be stopping 100 mph to zero three times so often anyways? In any case, I have never heard anyone complaining about the '05 having worst stopping capabilities than the 03-04's. Did you even read the post I linked to? Here, I'll put it up for you incase you didn't

Yes, he did it 10 times at the track and had no problems stopping with his brakes. However, the other guy with the brembos had problems? Don't get me wrong, I wish the 05 came with Brembo's but the stock ones are just as good without the high mantainance costs and brake dust
Speaking of brakes, I am thinking of getting the Stoptechs BBK in red or black though. They look sweet on the OEM 19's
Yes, the interior is a matter of opinion so we'll let that one go

Yes. that other thread posted in here about the brembos vs stockers is a great one too. It's not a track car, i agree. And the only people who should be arguing for the brembos are the ones who do track their car. I think tha'ts probably only 10% of us. I don't know what the others are arguing about.

i'm sure you have plenty of proof to back this up. besides, we'll all be trading in for hybrids in two years so who cares
05 metal center console looks fugly and it actually looks cheaper to me - like entry level altima type styling. But, the 05 dash/stiching/wheel lighting is sweet. I wish I could combine the two.
No brembos is a big time bummer. Everytime I see those big yellow brakes on my parked G or on the street on another G, I realize this. Brembo!!!
P.S. stop talking about Brembo stopping power - this thread is 100% about our 03/05/05 vanity and only looks. Brembos are big pimping, the stopping power is just the bonus.

I'm not sure how brushed alumnium possibly look cheaper than painted plastic though. Entry level Altima styling? Hardly. I don't see brushed alumnium in the altima at all. Just cheap plastic.

Change all that and lets see if it can be done with "a couple of hundreds."
I can get better brembo brakes than stock 04's and install them with less monay and hassle than you would spend on parts and labor... plus opening up your console with the possibility of getting rattles.
There you go MR No brainer.

BTW the Leather seats are better too. After 2 months on my ex04, I had some wear lines while my 05 reveals nothing after 3.
Hey, don't forget about our OEM 19's and Tires! The tires on the OEM are the better Potenzas that they put on the Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG sedan, the Enzo Ferrari Supercar (as a Scuderia version) and others:

That alone has to be worth something, right?
