Hey Guys I Really Need Help,

I Had A Set Of Bats Eyelids On My Coupe. I Got Tired Of My Lids And Took Em Off. I Used All Proper Removal Steps. Now Basicly The Clue From The Lids Staind My Headlamp And When I Tried To Get It Off Nothing Helped Even Googone. The More I Scrubed The More I Ruined My Lamps. What Do I Do I Guess I Need New Headlights.
Does Anyone Know How I Could Just Replace The Front Lens Because Technicly Its Just The Clear Plastin On My Lights That Ruined Everything Else Is Perfect. Please Help And If Im ****ed Where Can Iget Headlights For A Good Price Not Including The Xenons Or The Wiring . Just The Plastic

buff it with mag/chrome pollish untill its smooth and shiney as new Thats a SUPER old school trick.

Yeah thats what people do to remove the aged "yellowing" look that some headlights get. I'd try this before buying new lights.

Ya But The Actual Plastic Is Scratched From All The Buffing And Now It Had A Frosted Look Please Help

Try PlastX from Meguiar's

Again, try some mag/chrome polish -- it does wonders. Should get out the scratches as longs as they aren't too deep. You can also try wet-sanding them with *really* fine sandpaper -- look in the paint section at your local pepboys/auto zone

The scratches will buff out & look like new.
I'm sure in time any residual color will fade as well.

I Tried Chrome Whel Polish No Luck, I Tried Waxing It No Lux. Basicly The Googone Made The Glue From The Lids Spread Then I Tried Scrubing It And When It Hardend It Basicly Melted Into The Plastic So Half Of My Headlight Has A Faded Frosted Look With Many Lumps And Scrached Someone Plkease Help What Do I Do To Make Them Clear Again. It Looks Like U Took A Brillo Brush And Scrubed Them For A While Ahhhhhhhhhhhh New Lamps Cost So Much Im So Devistated

Has anyone else experienced this with the Bat overlays?

Also, I think your last resort is to try and fine wetsand. You don't really have anything to lose at this point. After that, time to source some 06 headlamps. You could also just throw the overlays back on... and pretend that the nightmare never happened.

Basicly It Looks Like Either I Scrathched The Hell Out Of My Light By Scrubbing Or This Chemical **** Made Another Super Hard Shell WITH LUMPS On TOP OF MY LIGHTLens. Ahhh Ill Take Pix Tomaro So U Can See Thanx Guys Sosososossoso Much
