hey guy i gave my car into my shop to have some work done. when i took it home i noticed the foker who parked my car hit the curb and scratched my whole rim up. i got pissed but didnt say anything , my shop offerd to pay but i said no because he is a good friend of mine and already was loosing money on me. i touched it up with all diffrent paints and alll they do is wear off. i heard you can fix all the curb rash by powder coating your rim for under 90 bux. i want to do this but i cant find a place in new york that does it for a decent price.

i have the 18 inch alloy stock rims. where in newyork can i get good rim powder coating done for cheap. prefferably in brooklyn .

 

Search for wheel repair in yellowpages.com or look in the local forums for some posts regarding wheel repair. I am sure there are a tone of places in NYC that can repair wheels.

lol i called every wheel repair store i could find on super pages i found one guy but he said it 200 a rim thats way too much

Just a short update on my situation:
I took GR8TG35's recomendation and contacted Jersey Shore Alloy. Met up with one of their techs, and he did the whole thing in under 2 hours. Because the wheel was scratched to $hit, the tire had to be take off. But the work came out great. I don't know whether the finish will deteriorate with age, but right now it's practically impossible to tell, even up close, that the wheel has been worked on. The price was $125.
