In houston, please pray for my family!

Please pray for my family of infiniti vehicles! We have my G coupe, my mom's G sedan, and my dads QX56 here and im worried that the roof of my garage is gonna be ripped off or something! O yeah.... and if you have time you can mention my little sister mom and dadd in your prayers

We evacuted for about 4 hours... got about 30 miles away and just came back. I'm sure we'll be fine, but it's gonna be uncomfortable if the power goes out. Im hoping that since the power lines around here are all under ground that the power may stay on. Good luck to anyone else who may be affected by this storm and i Hope your G's are okay

Hunker down Raznips, and everyone there, as well as all the G's and Q's, are in my prayers too.

Not sure how all those peeps will make on being stuck on the highway with no movement in traffic and no gas.........Not good.

Don't worry about the rides bro, they can be replaced. Keep everyone safe and best of luck with Rita.

Colin.

30 miles in 4 hours... I think that actually beats most people... My bro got like 3-4 miles in 3-4 hours. Hopefully he and my parents will be safe there.

It looks like Houston will get the west side of Rita as it moves toward Beaumont. Hopefully damage will be minimal. My brother was half way to Austin and came back after he heard Rita was moving east. I hear the trip to Dallas is taking 10+ hours and people are running out of gas or overheating in the 100+ degree heat today. Keep the G out of the flood waters. Good luck .....

I-45 headed north from Houston

thanks for all the positive thoughts guys!.......i'm staying (the g is in the garage) and we just got another update........it is still moving east! farther away from houston...

man, i got to tell you this is really wierd here.......hard to describe the feeling....waiting and watching the endless spew of news and doom and gloom from the reporters..... trying to prepare the house (taping the windows, clearing the yard completely of everything, filling water bottles and bathtubs, washing all the clothes, cooking food, staking trees, moving things away from windows, cash, valuables, loading guns, and there is more!) SO much to do, but you feel wierd doing all this........but good things too......driving around and waving to everyone and they wave back.......a sort of "hey i'm looking out for you too".....what an experience and RITA hasnt even stopped by to say hi yet!

You better plan on your power being out for several days. The disposition of power lines in your immediate community is irrelevant since the power must be shut off to entire grids before repair work can safely begin. So if you haven't done so already get plenty of dry ice.

Good luck.

It's going to be a Cat 2 by the time it hits, I keep asking god for this. Hopefully he will listen.
