Help AT G35 keeps stalling!
Help AT G35 keeps stalling!
I've had this problem on and off for I'd say 4 months. Some days it does it some days it's fine. I brought it to the dealership of course it comes back "could not replicated problem bull~" today as I was backing out of my driveway at low rpms it just flat out dies on me and I come to a rolling stop. Next I'm driving home doing about 50 and I go to slow down and I see all my lights on my dash light up, check engine light, battery etc and the car dies, no power steering nothing, and comes to a rolling stop from a 50, now that can't be possibly safe after just tapping the break right? Numerous times this is happening, sometimes it seems like my idle might just be a little bit too low, but I doubt it not always does it stall but it comes to an "almost" stall what I mean is it basically goes klunk klunk and once I get it going no more stall, weird, dealerships of no help, anyone here got any suggestions?

take it to the dealership and have them hook up the consult tool and scan EVERYTHING. including Engine, A/T.
May be something with MAF. I've had a couple of cars come in and after I scanned them, the MAF was the problem. or sometimes the Throttle body also.

You should listen to Shipsaeki. It sounds like solid advice.
I know the intake has caused a few poeople to stall out at high speeds with a manual, because it sucks in too much air and the engine cuts it self off (something like that).
But low speeds with an auto? Never heard of the Injen doing that. The guys stalling with the MT put a heatshield on the intake and it fixed that problem. But I don't think its that, I have an AT with an injen and I have never stalled, but nonetheless I would try putting the heatshield on.
Its either the MAF or throttle body, I highly doubt its the intake.
