I believe the '03-'04 cars had brake warrenties up to 30K miles or something? I'm not sure on the details since I didn't bother reading up on the brakes. The brake wear issue was such a problem with Infiniti which is why they were offering the warrenty. I believe this is also why they changed the brakes for the '05. Also, BMW covers brake pads for the first few years. It's part of their total maintenance thing. Oil changes and whatnot are all included for the first few years which is partially why BMWs cost so much more.

I ask my dealer and they said as long as your car is a 5AT and under 36,000 miles on it. they are gonna replace/fix the brake for you under warrenty. so go to your local dealer and get it done. (don't forget to ask them for a loaner )

I have the same problem with the VDC, SLIP and ABS lights on but mine stay on and never shut off. I read about the brake pads and fluid being a cause but I went out and got NISMO pads and topped off the fluid and these lights are STILL on. HELP pleasE! Infiniti is backed up and takes weeks before they can schedule me in.

I had my front brake pads (brembo) and shims replaced by infiniti. There was something mechanically wrong with the front brake assembly, took it in and I think I was told about a TSB (could be something else) regarding the front brakes. They replaced the pads and backorderd a shim kit. Depending on the issue, warranty can cover brakes even brembo brakes. Do you still wanna bet?

ok, so for the past month and 1/2 I've had VDC, SLIP, and ABS lights on. THey never shut off EVER and neither the ABS nor the VDC work at all. I finally took it to Orlando Infiniti and they ran the code and apparently its the ABS sensors that are giving off a code. I have an appointment on the 18th to get this taken care of. I'll post up the results as soon as we draw to a conclusion.
