OK... I am calling back the serv dept. The sales rep told me to change oil at 1200 miles.

 

According to Infiniti, the first oil change is at 3750 miles.

I got all my oil changes free but dont use it, I like doing it myself to make sure it gets done right.

 

Infiniti doesent offer any free oil changes. Thats totally up to your dealer, and 1200 isnt even a scheduled interval. For whatever reason you want to change your oil earlier than 3750, go for it and check with your dealer if its free or not.

 

Its kinda of shot in the dark, but, did you call the BMW dealershipp instade? cus M3s are required to have 1.2k service, and they changes oil, trans, rear diff. all for free,....but not INFINITI!

My dealership does every other oil change for free. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong, I love doing my own work on my own cars, but for a lease, and with my busy schedule lately, it's pretty nice to be able to get a free change once in a while.

 

My dealer told me to bring the Infiniti service qulity letter back to them
for a free oil change.

 

g35's are a lot more reliable than an M3..... we also didnt pay 50k either..... thus... we dont get free oil change

this is why you want to do that 1200 oil change, especially if its free.

at 550, the oil looked like 3750.

Do you need to do it? no... Will you hurt anything if you dont? No.. But you can see from the oil report, it certainly doesnt hurt to get that early change.
