Love my new coupe!
Love my new coupe!
It all started two weeks ago. I asked my friend "what is the best car you can buy under 40K?" His response - G35 coupe. I honestly didn't know much about the car, but with some general research, I soon realized this is the car to get! Now I'm the proud owner of a Ivory Pearl G35 Coupe - graphite interior. I'm also sitting on some aftermarket 19".
Buying experience -
Was fairly hectic. I walked into the only infiniti dealership in the state of WA (kirkland) and wasn't taken very seriously by the sales folks there (I'm 31 and look 21). Was kinda annoyed about not getting any attention, as I was very serious about buying one. Finally someone helped me, but he was kinda rushed. He also said I couldn't test drive any cuz all the ones on the lot were sold. I told him to call me at work during the week when some come in, and he never called. I called back, got a young guy who said I could come in and test drive. After my test drive -I knew I was gonna buy it.
Huge problem was availability. Basically ordering one meant waiting till October and getting a 2004. Thought about it and came back later and saw they had a white one with premium package and few minor extras. Unfortunately they were sitting on the lame 17"s. But not all was lost! Les Shwab dealership 3 blocks away
. Went to les schwab, spent few hours there and finally decided on some 19"s. Signed paperwork on Saturday - picked up car on Monday!
All I can say is wow. I've been surprised by the looks I get. Went to stereo shop to discuss upgrading stereo system, and the whole staff was like "oooh ahh.....". Felt good. Drove out of the garage at work and ticket guy was like "nice car!!". Went to get a burger at a drive-in and some high school gal yells "nice car!". Car is very much a looker!
Best thing I like is the sound. Man it sounds mean. People hear it and turn.
Anyways, sorry for th long winded post. Just wanted to share my experience. I'm quite happy with the purchase!
