That sounds like a very similar quote as mine.

I was quoted 1776 including a new housing for the light... more if any of the actual lights are damaged... which they are not, and also that includes some labor time to dedicate to the hood alignment.

About 60% of that estimate was for parts, 40% for labor.

And you are correct, the bumper is without a doubt, NOT salvagable. And like you said, it's like a 275$ part anyway.

I'm not sure but your frame could have bent as well. If it is it'll might cost a bit to fix...but it doesn't have to be fixed.

I had a similar accident, but the outcome (exterior wise atleast) wasn't as bad as yours but the inside, that's a different story. My radiator got shifted about an inch inward, one side of the radiator fan cracked, and the whole frontal frame shifted about half an inch from its original spot preventing my hood to close correctly.

So may have the same issues, but beside the fan, the other technically does not need to get fix.

good luck

Strider,

Did you take your car to any shops yet? What did they say about the damage?

They told me it would be about 1776 unless there was any unseen damage. I'll probably shop around a bit more to see if I can get lower estimates but if insurance is paying for it than I guess I don't really care that much. I just want it fixed to 100% again.
