Re: newb
Hi, I'm going over to USA soon for a 2 year stay. I was browsing through the Consumer Guide and was smitten by the G35. I was deciding between the 4 dr or Coupe coz I've 2 young brats to consider. Thankfully my wife prefers the Coupe. Can I ask what's the average waiting time and if any distributor would allow me to pre-order. I'll be in Alabama in May.
Re: newb
Get the Coupe.. I have 2 girls 7 and 9 and they just love driving with me..
"Go faster Dad" and they also alway persuade me to take the long twisty way home even if it makes them "seasick"..
More than enogh space.. but be careful of the willow interior it can get dirty quickly... also remove items from the runk yourself...

go to infiniti.com and type in Alabama and search for dealers and you can checkout their inventory. It is accurate however some cars on there might be already spoken for.
I hope you can get your credit approved since you'd be new into the USA, good luck though.
It shouldnt take that long to get an Automatic G, if they dont have one that you want then you can wait and they get a new shipment every month, but if you want the 6spd manual its gonna be a long wait.

Thanks. I'll be with the boys at Fort Rucker. I think there's precedence set. I'm getting the automatic. Where I come from we drive on the left side (i.e. driver sits on the right). I'll have enough figuring out keeping to the 'right' side of the roads. Don't want to muck around with the stick shift.
Re: newb
No kidding! I've decided to get the coupe. Now's getting over there in a piece!
My boy does the opposite, asking me to slow down and not exceed the speed limit. He gives me a lecture daily on how I should drive. He is 3 years old!
I actually think the willow interior (is that the biege leather?) is nice compared to the black interior. However, I may succumb to practicality. Having 2 boys would wreck the interior.

I'd rethink about getting the coupe if you got two kids wizard. Climbing in and out of the back seat of the coupe is real chore and takes forever. And once those boys get over 5'4", they are gonna bump their heads on the back window.
I'd get a black sedan, put some nice 18's on it, and you'll be stylin!

Cameron,
Thanks, my kids are 3 and 1. Don't think they'll hit 5' any time soon
.
I did think of the hassle to get them to buckle up and carrying them out if the fall asleep. For the first point, there's the wife to help. And when they fall asleep, then I guess I have to drive around till they wake up.
