temp changes will deff effect your tire pres.

I get them all day long now that it's getting colder out. you guys/girls should set your tire pres. to around 36-38 depending on your area and ride comfort. The TPS will come on when the psi reaches 26-28 lbs of air. so setting it around 36-38 will reduce chances of that annoying light and beep.

Ditto. I know it's going to happen, but everytime it does I start looking around the car for something burning...

ditto... I have about 5000 miles on my ride, never seen the pressure sensor go off yet. Hopefully they work The tires look perfectly inflated, but it is starting to get cold in the nights/mornings, i'm sure i'll see some activity from them soon.

The tire pressure alarm went off last weekend. It scared me also since I've never seen it engage before. I was paranoid that one of the tires was leaking but after stopping a couple of times and not noticing any difference between the four (it's hard to tell with the low profile 19" tires) I figured it must have been due to the temp drop. I pulled over at a gas station later that evening and they were all at 32psi. I went up to around 37 on all four.

Just a friendly reminder that if your PSI is too high, you might see increased center wear!!!

I agree, and from what I know, optimum performance is realized at the manufacturere's recommended pressures.
One or 2 psi above the recommended pressures should be ok.
It's wise to keep an eye on tires regularly, due to big fluctuations in pressures due to ambient temp changes.

I set mine at 34 all around... and I think the OEM 19" rims + tires setup recommends 35psi... just a little bit lower for the hotness of the california afternoon =)
