High Flow Cats

I have stock exhaust right now on my g35 coupe. What will this do to my stock exhuast sound? Will it make it higher pitcher or deeper or louder? Please let me know and where I can purchase these from, a site. Thanks a lot.

Not too sure on the sound difference.

Take a glance at:

Most people say their car gets both deeper and louder, but still retains the stock exhaust note.

This is true. I have had the cats on for almost 2 weeks now. I am very happy with the new mod.

Just don't buy Random Tech. Cats, they suck! Crawfords sound much better!

Cats

How about inspections? Any issues? I'm in NY and it might be a problem.

Test pipes maybe....But not w/ Crawford Cats. I would not put test pipes on a G. Crawford cats are worth the $.

+1 for the Crawford Cats

i'm planning to purchase a set soon.. i heard them this past weekend, and they really do change how the exhaust sounds, even with an aftermarket system.. makes it sound deeper and more exotic..

Test Pipes Vs Crawford Cats

Test Pipes:

1. Rasp....Sounds like sh*t
2. Loss in low end torque (very noticable)
3. Check Engine Light (Possible)
4. Will not pass e-tests
5. will not pass visual inspection

Crawford cats sound awesome, no low end torque losses, will not trigger check engine light, should be able to pass e-tests and will pass a visual inspection.

Crawford's are the best, take my word for it. I've done the research.

If your going do this type of mod and you don't want to spend $500 for a new set of Crawford cats, I would wait until a set goes for sale on my350z.com. You can get a set for under $400 shipped in good condition (low mi).

Ask the seller for a pic before you buy. You won't have to wait more than a month.

Hope this helps.
