You can pull up to almost any traffic stop in this city and look around on the ground, you will see hundreds of those things, it's just ugly.

 

I just hope you decide to quit one day and follow through with it, for your health, I have seen what they do to some people as the years go by... No disrespect, so please don't take this wrong, it's all positive.

 

do smokers actually believe that they're cars don't stink without using an ash tray?? a few of my friend's smoke and not only do their cars stink so do their clothes, breathe, apartment, etc... don't kid yourself. i'm not trying to insult any smokers... well err... maybe i am. fact of the matter is smoking has got to be one of the most retarded habits anyone can ever pick-up. i feel bad for people who do it but u just gotta go through the steps and quit.

 

actually sometimes I can smell nasty ciggarette smoke when I'm driving with my windows down. Not all of us are use to smelling like a dirty ashtray.

 

Well what I meant by that is if you leave ashes and cigarette butts in your ash tray it's definitely going to make the car smell worse compared to not having anything in the ash tray.. The car will still have cigarette odor from smoking of course (and especially in the rain).. I used my ash tray and left butts and ashes in my civic before I bought the G and it always smells like cigarettes when I get in the car. My G still has the new leather smell even if I do smoke cigarettes, but the smell isn't as bad if the ash tray isn't used. Plus I have an air freshener and ozium to get rid of the smell once I'm done.

I agree that cars still smell if you smoke in the car period. I never said that it doesn't smell if you DON'T use the ashtray.. Yes smoking is a bad habit and I wish I never started, but this thread may turn into a whole other discussion about smoking cigarettes and we should stick to the topic of the thread. Damn that government crack
