Hi all,

I have a '04 coupe and I've been getting this annoying rattling noise lately, coming from the sunroof area.

I know there are plenty of other threads about sunroof rattles, but they all seem to point to the "sunroof squeek" TSB. I have performed this TSB, and it did not cure the rattling noise. However, the rubber trim around my sunroof no longer squeeks when I leave my driveway.

The rattling I'm experiencing happens still, even with the sunroof open. It's harder to hear due to the wind noise, but it's still there. I can't seem to localize it to a specific point, but it's near/around the roof guide-rail and cabin light area.

Anyone else experience this?

 

you have to pull down the headliner (just the front corner, enough to slide your hands in) and tighten the frame. I hear its not bad, I need to do mine. Someone posted the procedure here before I think.

 

I have the same problem. It seems to go away when I stick a finger or two into the rubber accordian looking pieces on each side. Definately not the usual sunroof squeek.

 

i had that problem before too but i just took it into the dealer when i got my oil change and the fixed it. now when i tilt open the sunroof, it makes a rattling noise during the transition =(

 

Is sunroof squeak well-known problem by Nissan ?

I've had that **** for a year and I took it in to dealer and showed to technician

He had no idea where it was coming from even though I told him it was coming

from sunroof. Is there anyway I could fix this annoying problem ?

It only squeaks when I got uneven road like going into parking lot. (Little ramp

that almost every porkitng lot has)

It also squeaks when I push the sunroof or the top.
