I figured I'd share this if anyone is interested in an '06 we had one come in so to see some changes myself I took along the camera phone. Any more questions I'd be gladly to answer them.


between the bluetooh button now you won't be able to turn the power of the radio/cd on and off that's the change
the bluetooth menu is user friendly -- just listen to the lady and it is all voice activated to set it up and just goes through the radio system. no buttons to push it's all by the voice

as for the trunk button ... all G's will have it so you won't have to use your keyfob or the button in the front when all the doors are unlocked.

I am pissed about the Bluetooth. Ah well, headset it is.

 

my friend who owns a sell phone store does sell a portable bluetooth kit for the car that has an external speaker. i'm waiting for him to show me so i can install it into my car to see how quality of a unit it is for $200. i'll keep you guys informed. as for the button for the trunk release look on the driver's side tailight you'll see the chrome button. just like the sedan has it on the left side so will the coupe.

i have a customer that ordered a blk/blk premium nav w/ aero kit so i'll post pictures when it comes in.

 

Can you give us some input in regards to the exhaust note?

 

Same as 05....

 

I confirmed it in person today, the US spec 06 G35C has the same exhaust note as the 05 and prior. Apparently only JDM model and oversea G35Cs got the wimpy exhaust note.

 

I'll put a 20 on its the same.

 

You wouldnt have happened to take pics using a MPX220 would you? hehe..

 

I just stopped by my dealer tonight and looked at the 2006s as well. I can say that the new headlights are bright as hell. And I too can confirm that the exhaust note is the same as that of the 2005s. The new spoiler is god-awful ugly. If I do end up getting an '06, I will definitely have a 2005 spoiler installed afterwards.

 

Also went to the dealer today, they got a shipment of 06 coupes, out of 5 only 1 was 6mt. Well, anyways, I took some pics of the car wrapped up, and a few of the spoiler which is pretty fugly... that and the absense of the clearence strip is the downside of getting an '06 I thinks.
