Emergency: coupe gas spill out at 1/2 tank!

Okay I was filling my gas just now and the gas just started spilling out at half tank! what the hell the cars only 3 weeks old.
What should I do right now, i just cleaned the car with the Z-7 and rinsed it hopefully to get rid of the gas on it, anything else i should do?
Why's this happening?!

Anyone? sorry for bumping so soon but I don't want any permanent stains on the 3 week old coupe. Will z-7 clean it up properly?

I think there's a TSB about this, something to do with a faulty shutter valve in the gas tank. You might check it out and then take it to the dealer and make them fix it under warranty.

Take a deep breath and try to relax. I promise you your car will be fine. Gasoline will evaporate long before it has a chance to do any damage to your layer of Z2 on top of your clear coat.

Tomorrow's sunday and the service departments of dealerships are gonna be closed. Here's another problem, I'm 20 and won't be eligible for a loaner. I'm an international student so no family here to drive me to a class. I have to go to which starts in a mere 20 minutes right after another class at another school.
The question is... should I try filling up again?

btw: does gas corrode rubber(that piece of rubber at the mouth of the tank)?

I tried filling up again just now, got $0.44 in before I hear the "about to overflow" sound and stopped immediately.

I had the following TSB applied some 3 months ago. It resolved my gas filling issues immediately. Good luck!

I think you mean the gas was spilling out, not the oil. What you did to clean it up is fine. There is no possibility of any paint damage.

I thought you could get a loaner even if you're under 21? My dealership didn't even check my ID when I went in for service and got a loaner.

you're not allowed to get a loaner if your under 21 (At least in california nyways) BUT if a dealership is cool they'll just let you fill out the papers and give you a loaner anyways.

Cloud: call a dealer and tell them you need this done in one day and you already know the problem. print out the TSB and bring it with you. tell them you'll wait on it.. then just bring a laptop (infiniti should have wireless) and chill in the lounge or something its probably gona take a good amount of time so i suggest you bring a friend.

I've a similar experience before where the gas spills out, but it's usually about 3/4 of the way, so I can get enough gas in there to last me almost a week, so it is not a big issue for me. I just didn't know that it is a known problem, if it is, I might as well take it in a get the service people to take care of it.

Get the tsb done. Regarding your paint, it's fine. People use Kerosene to take off tar stains all the time.

The tank may be full bro......which means the gauge is giving a faulty reading.
(a common issue).
You may be able to use the shuttle service at the dealership if they won't lend you a ride.

There's no way the gas tank's full cause I've been driving around for a week and I've seen the gas dropping gradually from above full to 2/5 tank
