wats ur gas mileage like?

ive been driving around boston for couple of months now (lots of city stop and go drive) and ive noticed that i get only about 200 mi per full tank...does that sound right??

i dont quite remember what i used to get when in LA but i remember it was closer to 250...

just wondering what everyone else is getting...to see if anything might be wrong or if its just me being paranoid
thanks

200 mi on a full tank? thats pretty low, around 11-12 MPG?

i actually tested my G on different tanks of gas. When people say they get 20+ MPG on there G its usally because there driving on the freeway at a constant speed with cruise control on , in 5th gear for AT or 6th gear for MT. however when i drive locally and use the automatic mode and lightly press the gas i can get around 17 MPG. if i drive how i normally drive, redlining every other light , etc i get around 14ish. so it really depends on your driving habits and where you drive freeway or city,

I'm averaging a solid 20.5 MPG, with a mix of heavy CA. commuting and some in town driving on weekends....car has 2000 miles on it.

Dude..

Boston fricken sucks right now. The roads are soo chopped up it's a godadamn nightmare.

I refuse to drive my G35 into boston again until they finish paving the roads(supposedly this will be done in early January).

Also.. if you're ever parking in a parking garage near Fenway Park(Landsown street area), don't park in the garage that is attached to Fenway(Under/behind the Green Monster... directly across from that high school). I payed 12 bucks to park there one night, and then one of the ********* who worked there broke my side view mirror off of my car on purpose.

200 miles out of the tank is not normal.

I have never gotten any less than 300 out of the tank. I certainly dont ***** foot around either. You just have to learn to drive more conservatively. I get anywhere from 18 to 19.5 MPG.

I believe 20 mpg is about average. I have 28K miles on my car and I always average 20.XX mpg.

If its all city I imagine it would drop a few miles but I consistenly average a good 50/50 mix of city and highway....

I wonder how those guys get 26-27MPG...that's insane...

I drive a good mix of city and hwy and I always get at least 325 miles or more. I fill up at 1/4 tank, look at how many miles my trip guage shows and then divide by the gallons it took to fill up ... and not less than 22mpg, normally closer to 23mpg. Its a 6MT and judging from my less than perfect driving record, I'm not driving like an old man.

It wasn't one of thsoe garages where they park your car for you... you park it yourself, and I was parked next to a wall.. so there was no other cars that would be pulling in next to my car.

Also.. there were no scratches on my side view mirror... and it was broken by pushing down on it(by hand) as evidenced by the way the black plastic support was broken.
