What should I do before storing?
Massachusetts here.
We had a record snowfall last year.. I think we ended up with like 95 inches of snow on the season.
This state sucks. I hate it and want to move somewhere with a more palletable climate.

I dont really want to drive it once every two weeks or anything, I live in Indiana and it will be snowy and there will salt and sand on the roads that i dont want on the bottom of my car.

I just did a bunch of research today on my350Z.com, 6mt.net, and here on G35Driver and I can't really find any convincing posts on a stable place to use jack stands for the car for a prolonged period of time.
There were a bunch of posts where people mentioned that they made some sort of jack-stand attachment that would pad the surface of the jack stand(with a carved slit in it to fit over the lip of the factor jack points)... but I haven't yet found anyone who has kept their G35/350Z up on jackstands all winter.
I'd like to keep mine on jackstands to help avoid flatspotting the tires and also to keep the load off of my suspension and transmission, but it doesn't look like it's going to be that easy to do.
So far, the best Idea I've found is that one guy took a hockey puck and carved a slit into it to make for a jack-stand pad.... but I don't feel confident as to how well the structural integrity of a G35's jack points will stand up to 4 months of constant stress due to being supported by those jack points.
Does anyone here leave their G on jack stands all winter?... if so, please contribute some details of how you went about it.... Muchos Gracias!
