Thinking of selling the "G" and buying a "Goat" (2006 GTO 6.0L LS2)
I know vortech makes a kit for it that pushes the HP over 550HP.
Any thought? Am I crazy?

I don't think your crazy.
V8's are pretty hot/fun and sound awesome, especially with aftermarket exhausts. Plus, they have a lot more to gain from aftermarket mods than our engines do.
I've heard nothing but great things about those GTO's from people I know who've driven them. I just don't like the looks of it compared to the G35 and I like the long-term durability of Nissan vehicles over GM.
I come from a group of friends who are obsessed with F-Body's(Camaros, Trans-Ams, Firebirds and Corvettes), and they don't hold up so well after 5 or 6 years.... although you can gain like 70-100 HP from adding an intake, exhaust and headers.... where a G35 might get you only gain 15-20 HP from those same mods(and it will cost you twice as much to buy those parts for a G).
On the other hand... I'm on my 3rd Nissan vehicle(I currently own 2, and have always owned at least one Nissan every day for the past 11 years) and have had nothing but good graces thus far with them. I only sold my first Nissan to upgrade to something better.
Don't bother looking at the Charger, because it only comes in an automatic transmission. The Charger SRT-8 starts at $38K... so whoever said it is under 30 grand is mistaken.

Stick HSV badges on it that will have everyone guessing.
Do you get the Coupe 4 (four wheel drive) version in US?

yeah I agree with the styling of the G is better than the GTO, But I have seen some pretty good stuff that they make for the Holden "GTO". Look at the interior shots of the new 2006 GTO
Just sick.
